Hello!  We are Chad and Chandi Mayes.  We’ve been married 19 years, have 5 children, a daughter-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren.  Chad was a police officer and I was a nurse before we went into missions full time. Chad went on his first mission trip in 1999 to Los Angeles and his second trip in 2000 to the Dominican Republic.  This sparked a passion for missions in Chad that he would continue to pursue.  I went on my first mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2004, right after we got married.  My trip also ignited a fire in me for missions.  Since then, Chad and I have lead teams to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico.  This is our 14th year serving in Puerto Rico, living in country full time for two of those years.  Currently, we run a non-profit called the LYNC8 Project that facilitates and travels with missions teams each year.  Chad is also the head women’s basketball coach at Asbury University in Wilmore, KY.
